STOCK SEGMENT RESPONSIBILITIES AND KPIs
Forecast and plan demand to improve stock levels for the respective segments.
Adhere to the specified KPIs.
Manage stock to avoid aged inventory and reduce write-offs.
Frequently review sell-out versus forecast to improve forecast accuracy and manage stock holding.
Review forecast exceptions to maintain accuracy and manage demand effectively.
PURCHASING
Process international and local supplier orders via ATHENA.
Manage purchase orders in accordance with the Delegation of Authority (DOA).
Create orders for various purposes (e.g., demonstration, internal use).
Conduct weekly stock reviews prior to order payments.
SUPPLIER AND INTERNAL STAKEHOLDER LIAISON
Communicate with suppliers regarding the status of goods on purchase orders.
Make enquiries to suppliers regarding stock availability.
Liaise with relevant internal stakeholders when stock cannot be shipped, or during product phase-in/out.
Communicate stock arrivals and delays to stakeholders.
SALES OPERATIONS / E5 / DIRECT-TO-FRANCHISE FORECASTS AND DISTRIBUTION
Generate monthly international and local S&OP/E5 reports prior to stakeholder meetings.
Ensure updated projections are received from Sales ahead of the S&OP process.
Generate Direct-to-Franchise forecast reports in advance of stakeholder meetings.
Attend forecast review meetings with suppliers when required.
FORECASTING
Daily & Weekly Reporting:
Back orders
ETAs and order tracking
Stock on hand (machines in warehouse)
Supplier open orders / not shipped
Additional Reporting:
S&OP/E5 updates for stakeholders
Ricoh demand sheet
Ricoh forecast report
Monthly depreciation charges
Bi-annual write-offs
Stock ageing reports
Excess stock reports
GENERAL ADMINISTRATION
Use the Nashua Enterprise Portal to manage:
Stock returns
Stock adjustments
ETAs
Order queries
Ensure your equipment is in working order.
Report faulty equipment to the relevant department.
Provide cover for team members during annual and/or sick leave.
Answer and take messages from phone calls when necessary.
Attend all required meetings.
Minimum requirements
- Matric.
- National Diploma/degree Supply Chain, Logistics, Purchasing or Business Management.
- 3-5 years’ experience in a Supply Chain planning environment.
- Registration with a Professional Body/ Driver’s License, Trade test will be advantageous.
- PC literate (MS Word, Excel, Windows) (Advanced Excel required)
