Introduction
We are looking for a Product Specialist to join the team.
Job description

  • Forecasting and demand planning to improve stock levels for the respective segments.
  • Collaborate and work with EPC, OEM, Distributor, Franchise and Customer project teams
  • Assist on pre-sales as and when required to do so on projects
  • Install loggers on specific sites as when required to do so
  • Interpret logging and utility consumption reports and provide data driven insights that inform design and provide key inputs into projects
  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment.
  • Perform electrical fault-finding, troubleshooting, and repairs.
  • Ensure all work complies with SANS (South African National Standards) and relevant regulations.
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings.
  • Conduct electrical inspections and issue Certificates of Compliance (CoC).
  • Perform preventative maintenance on electrical systems.
  • Test electrical systems and components to ensure proper function and safety.
  • Collaborate with other trades and contractors on-site.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed.
  • Adhere to safety procedures and company policies

Minimum requirements

  • Matric
  • Trade Test Certificate (Qualified Electrician).
  • Wireman’s License (Valid and recognised by relevant authorities).
  • Minimum 3-5 years of electrical experience (post-qualification).
  • Valid Driver’s License.
  • Experience working with single-phase and three-phase electrical systems.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical codes and safety standards.
  • Ability to use electrical testing equipment and tools.
  • Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness to travel when required.
  • Willingness to work overtime when required.
