Introduction
We are looking for a Product Specialist to join the team.
Job description
- Forecasting and demand planning to improve stock levels for the respective segments.
- Collaborate and work with EPC, OEM, Distributor, Franchise and Customer project teams
- Assist on pre-sales as and when required to do so on projects
- Install loggers on specific sites as when required to do so
- Interpret logging and utility consumption reports and provide data driven insights that inform design and provide key inputs into projects
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment.
- Perform electrical fault-finding, troubleshooting, and repairs.
- Ensure all work complies with SANS (South African National Standards) and relevant regulations.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings.
- Conduct electrical inspections and issue Certificates of Compliance (CoC).
- Perform preventative maintenance on electrical systems.
- Test electrical systems and components to ensure proper function and safety.
- Collaborate with other trades and contractors on-site.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed.
- Adhere to safety procedures and company policies
Minimum requirements
- Matric
- Trade Test Certificate (Qualified Electrician).
- Wireman’s License (Valid and recognised by relevant authorities).
- Minimum 3-5 years of electrical experience (post-qualification).
- Valid Driver’s License.
- Experience working with single-phase and three-phase electrical systems.
- Strong knowledge of electrical codes and safety standards.
- Ability to use electrical testing equipment and tools.
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to travel when required.
- Willingness to work overtime when required.
